Eggs to Draw On

Howdy, Make It Monday!

Hope everyone had another great weekend! Any weekend I’m at a scrapbook retreat is great for me. I just wish they wouldn’t go so fast. Though, I guess the ‘real’ world awaits us, unfortunately. Anyways, today I have some plastic eggs I’m not sure why, but found in my stash of scrapbook supplies, so I thought I would draw on them. Let’s get started with “Eggs to Draw On….”

Things Used:

  • Spritz Craft Egg Kit
  • Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Pens
  • Sharpie Fine Point Pens

Remember my “Easter Egg Drawing” I did last week? Well, I used those designs to decorate these eggs. Based on the packaging, I believe these were purchased from Target in their one dollar section. I’m sure, though; you could purchase them anywhere – Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s Craft, Amazon.com, etc. As for the stands they are in, I borrowed them from my moms Easter decoration stash.

First, using my Fine Point Sharpie Pens, I drew a line around the middle of each of my eggs going longitudinal.

Then, using my Ultra Fine Point Sharpie Pens, to started drawing my designs on each egg. Though drawing on these eggs weren’t particularly hard, you need lots of patients to working slowly while making your design.

Finally, using the color Sharpie pens accordingly to my designs from last weeks drawings, I filled in what was left.

There you go. Three decorated Easter Eggs ready to put out with your Easter decorations. Just a super fun, easy project to keep those kiddos busy while also helping with getting ready for Easter company. Hope you enjoyed!
