Easter Egg Drawing

Happy Make It Monday!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We have made it to the fourth month of the year. Yesterday was Alex, our African Grey Bird, 22nd Birthday. He got his cake and ice cream just like he does every year. I’m pretty sure he loves the ice cream more but then again he’ll eat just about anything. Anyways, today I have an “Easter Egg Drawing.” Let’s get started…

Things Used:Easter Egg Drawing -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info...

  • Canson Marker Paper
  • Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Pens
  • Sharpie Fine Point Pens
  • Black & Decker Laser
  • Faber-Castell 2H Pencil
  • Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Pen

Step #1:

It took a few tries but I finally got to where they were coming out consistently. Unless you are using a template, everyone’s egg will come out differently. In this case, I hand-drew mine so they are certainly not perfect.

With everything in place, I placed my three eggs under the next piece of Canson Marker Paper and traced over them with my Sharpie Pens.

Step #7:

Easter Egg Drawing -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info... For my first Easter Egg Drawing, I used my Blue Sharpie Fine Point Pen for the egg outline and what I call Seaweed Green Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Pen for my design. I couldn’t resist incorporating the ocean into at least one of my designs.

Easter Egg Drawing -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info... For my second Easter Egg Drawing, I just drew some simple flowers. I used my Purple Sharpie Fine Point Pen for the egg outline and my Bright Pink, Dark Pink, and Yellow Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Pens.
