Howdy, Wednesday! You have come too quickly! If today is Wednesday, that means I have one week and 2 days until I take my exam again! Not cool, not ready! Anyways, remember the “starfish drawing” I made a couple weeks ago? Well, it’s here again for my project today and possible Friday. Let’s get started with “You’re a Star….”
- Starfish Drawing
- Canson Marker Pad
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Tsukineko Dual-Ended VersaMarker Pen
- Pebbles Inc I Kan’dee Chalk Set, Pearlescent Shimmers
- Black & Decker Laser
- Photoshop Elements 13

Next, I used my VersaMarker Watermark Pen again to go over all the circles except for some of the very small ones at the end of each ‘arm.’ Finally, I used the light blue out of the chalking set to chalk them.
And there’s my new starfish I decided to make for today’s “Write It Wednesday.”
You’re a Star:
To make my “You’re a Star,” I used the Tombow Dual Brush Pen number 243 and 373 for the blending technique.
Here, I wanted to try something different over the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. This picture doesn’t do it justice on what it actually looks like. Click here for a Boomerang video. However, I once again used my VersaMarker Watermark Pen to go over my letters. Then, I used the same dark blue color chalk out of my Pebbles Inc Chalking Set to add my additional color. The outline looking shadow around the letters in some areas is the left over VersaMarker. When I tried cleaning it up in Photoshop Elements 13, it didn’t look as good as it does here so I left it as is.
