Butterflies and Dragonflies…

It’s Write It Wednesday again!!

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!

Butterflies and Dragonflies...Growing up I have always loved bugs! I have a butterfly net I got when I was 4 or 5 years old and would catch everything from butterflies to wasps to bumble bees to dragonflies. I just love them and find them fascinating just like with dolphins and marine mammals.

While my mom was working on her Masters in Education degree, during the summer breaks of my middle school years, I went to a Science Day Camp. I loved it! We went out in the field at the college campus catching anything and everything we could possibly catch. Continue reading “Butterflies and Dragonflies…”

Becoming a Tripawd….

It’s Random Tuesday once again!

I hope everyone is having a GREAT morning!  Me, I had to go to the dentist at 7am for my 6 month cleaning but after leaving and getting half way there I realized I forgot something I needed.  Once I got back home to get it and went to get out of the car, I saw I managed to forget to also change shoes as I was still in my UGG house shoes. ?  So yea, my mornings been GREAT!

Any who…

I’ve mentioned my Gracie baby a few times in my previous posts.  For this post I wanted to tell you about the time she tragically broke her front left leg.  I know I’ve touched on this subject too, but I thought I would go a little more in-depth. Continue reading “Becoming a Tripawd….”

Father’s Day Gift

It’s Make It Monday again!

So for my Father’s Day Gift, I made my dad a new bag to carry his stuff back and forth from his office. I decided he needed a new one since he seemed to be missing his old bag that broke and the replacements he had went up in flames when our warehouse burned down. Once I actually got started on making it (I had it planned for over a month), it went fairly quick.

A small back story on what the bag is for other than work — my dad owns and runs a fitness company which manufacturers and distributes fitness equipment all over the United States. He started the business back in the early 2000s. He owns 3 brand names with equipment he has designed himself with the help of a few of his employees and of course, his daughters and wife, throughout the years. Continue reading “Father’s Day Gift”

Save Everything Scrapbooking

Happy Friday once again and Scrap It Friday y’all!

Okay tell the truth!  If you are a scrapbooker you save basically everything — maps of aquariums, zoos, school schedules, etc.  If you have pets and scrapbook them (and I know you do!) you probably save things such as their first collars from when they were a puppy or kitten.  For your kiddos, well I don’t have kids yet but I know my mom saved things my sister and I made when we were in kindergarten.  Grand it, she hasn’t made those albums yet but I have my file folder in my closet for safe keeps either until she’s ready to make my album or I eventually make it myself (though I’m still working on pictures from when I lived in Long Beach, MS but haven’t even touched the pictures when I visited my sister in France in 2010. ? Great Night Sleep Potion

It’s Oily Thursday!!

Hope everyone has a great day!! 🙂  Today I want to talk about my “great night sleep potion.”  I know I touched on it a little in the previous posts but I wanted to elaborate a little bit more.  Yes, I use the obvious Lavender Oil, and like I’ve mentioned previously, I use Lemon Oil and Thieves Oil.  I also, however; add into my roller and diffuser sometimes these days Valor Oil, Lemongrass Oil, and Cedarwood Oil.
