Rose Drawing

Happy Monday y’all! Hope everyone has a great day! I’m heading back up to the elementary class I’ve been doing my observation for about the last week and kinda sad it’s my last day. At least I know I’ll be back soon (fingers crossed!). Anyways, since it’s now Valentines Week I thought I would show off my “Rose Drawing.” So, let’s get started…

Step #1:

The first thing I did was place my pencil drawing on my Cricut BrightPad and used some tape to keep it in place.

Then using my Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Hard Tip Pen, I drew a half moon shape in the middle.

Next, I carefully drew a little bigger/wider half moon using my first one as the base connector.

I continued drawing my half moon/circle shapes until I reached my desire rose size.

Once I was finished with my rose black outline, I removed my pencil drawing from underneath and added a piece of Canson WaterColor paper on top, then secured it down with the tape.

Using my Dr. Ph. Martin’s Watercolor ‘Deep Red Rose’ color and waterbrush, I carefully colored each section in on my “Rose Drawing.”

After creating my Red and Pink “Rose Drawings”, I decided I should make a yellow one since yellow roses symbols friendship. So, I repeated my steps above one last time to create my yellow “Rose Drawing” and used Dr. Ph. Martin’s Watercolor ‘Hansa Yellow Light’ color.
